Villa Albrizzi

Villa Albrizzi is located in the town of Este,
at the foot of the Euganenan hills southwest of Padua.
It is strategically located - close to the Venice Marco
Polo Airport (50 kms. away). From the center of
Este there are local trains and buses for Padua and
Venice. Express trains are available from Monselice
(8 kms. away) going to Padua, Milan,Venice,
Florence, and Rome. This northeastern region
of Italy is famous for it's Palladian and Venetian
Villas and Verona's roman open ampitheatre.

ACTIVITIES
Golfing: There are three 18-hole courses in the
vicinity, all within a pleasant 25 minute drive.
Spas: Abano and Montegrotto are famous spas
and are within easy drive.
Walking and sightseeing: Este is perfectly placed
for exploring the regional park of the Colli Euganei.

Este: 5 min. by foot to the center to town
(the Duomo, Archeological Museum, the Castle,
and the shop of the famous Este ceramic factory)
Montagnana: a medieval walled city beatifully
preserved, also famous for its ham (prosciutto crudo).
Arquà Petrarca: historical medieval village
on the Colli Euganei.
Villa Barbarigo at Valsanzibio: a beautiful
17th Century garden described by Edith Wharton
in her book "Italian Gardens".
